Phoenician - Westwood

This was the first time for my wife and I to have dinner at Phoenician Sail in Westwood, NJ. and we were both very happy that we chose it. We were immediately welcomed to to the restaurant and seated at a very comfortable table. Within moments we were greeted again and given our menus along with a list of specials for the evening. We were given as much time as we needed to make our appetizer and dinner selection. Our waiter Todd was very attentive and answered any questions we had about the menu.The appetizers and main courses we chose were well prepared and tasted excellent. When it came time for desert we ordered espresso that took a while to come to our table however, due to the delay the restaurant comped us for the coffee. We were surprised at that. The price of everything was . We will be going back there again in the near future and I highly recommend the Phoenician Sail as a place for an enjoyable evening. Almost forgot there was a soloist guitarist providing music for the diners.

We had a wonderful time to celebrate the new year and a special occasion. the food was delicious and the staff made us feel so welcome. I'm looking forward to the return.

It was just too loud. we couldn't listen to our table of 4. the restaurant needs noise.

The menu is varied, gives us many options and everything we had here is always great. even what they expect to be a simple dish like the appetizer salad is unique tasting. the service is warm and yet professional. and love the new wine options. this is a neighborhood motto.
