The Grill On The Alley

I’m really sad to hear that the Westlake Village location is closing. I loved both the food and the service there. I always ordered the John Dory fish, which was delicious, and the truffle fries were amazing as well. Unfortunately, they will be closing this Saturday, October 29th. If you want to visit, you'll have to go to the original location in Beverly Hills.

I hadn't visited this restaurant in quite some time, and it still delivers! The steaks and grilled meats remain outstanding, the side dishes are fantastic, and the lobster bisque is among the best I've found in the area. The chicken pot pie is also very unique and absolutely incredible. This is one of the few great restaurants that has maintained its quality post-pandemic.

I ordered the smallest lobster roll and was disappointed to see it came with only three fries, plus five burnt ones that were nearly inedible. My old-fashioned drink was garnished with a lemon wedge. I used to love this place, and I'm really hoping they bring back the amazing black and blue burger during happy hour soon!
