Hot Chicken Takeover - Westerville

This place has the best food in Polaris, hands down. Fresh, hot fried chicken, creamy homemade macaroni, and now fries! Banana pudding is out of this world and our girl Laree was so attentive. A+ and *chef?s kiss*

Chicken is the star of the show? a must try in Columbus! The chicken was very tender juicy, the drums more so than the breast. We ordered ?Hot?, which was not as spicy as I expected. If you have a medium/high spice tolerance hot is very manageable. The Mac and cheese was fine, typical Mac and cheese. Not pictured is the banana pudding? pretty good, but we wished there were banana pieces included. Definitely appreciated the free sweet tea and how kind the servers/workers

Presentation was lacking and food was mediocre. Friends had hyped the place up for me and I was excited to visit and have chicken and waffles. The waffles are dissatisfying and the syrup tastes like watered down diet syrup with no buttery flavor. The chicken was tasty but more heat could have been cooked into it or maybe if it was wetter. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time because I pick up for Uber and a lot of orders go through here...and I love hot chicken ..It is delicious! I got the warm flavored boneless chicken with mac n cheese and Cole slaw. I honestly don't like Mac n cheese but when they said it was baked I thought why not try it out? It was so cheesey and savory like a warm hug!!! Honestly the spice on the chicken was bold and tasty, not too hot but left a tingle on my lips.

I got the drums and the banana pudding. i asked for hot and to be honest its borderline excruciating for me but the fried chicken had the crispiness and tenderness of a really good fried chicken. really nice place too i was in awe of the place while waiting for my food at the drive thru. the sweet tea wasnt that great but i thought this place looked amazing and the food was pretty good. the ranch dressing is good really compliments the spicy crispy tender chicken.
