The Master's Diner - West Liberty

This new Laotian restaurant deserves a perfect 10 stars! As the photos illustrate, there is a lot of attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious—truly exceptional. This is far from your typical Asian restaurant or fast food joint. In a larger city, a place like this would be considered fine dining, as it excels in every way. All the dishes are unique and crafted by a chef with a culinary degree, which is evident not just in the presentation but in the flavor as well. You must try this place! You won’t be disappointed!

I have really missed Laotian food since returning to Iowa. Your dishes are truly authentic and absolutely delicious. You've definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite restaurants, and I will recommend it to others. I felt that the green papaya salad leaned more towards the Thai style (som tum) rather than the Laotian style (thum mak hoong).

I cannot speak to the authenticity of the food, since this is my first experience with Laotian food. However, I will speak to the deliciousness of it. In our group we had the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, dumplings, veggie/tofu soup, a noodle dish, short ribs, a salad, sticky rice, and a rice dish. It was all great. It was very flavorful, the sauces were good, the dishes were fresh, and the portions were huge. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back.
