Merriland Farm Cafe - Wells

Everything is wonderful! The people, the food , the place, We have been here a few times now, it's tucked away in wells so oftentimes we forget about it. The food is fresh and delicious and their menu is great. They serve Coffee by Design coffee and today we ordered their pumpkin teabread! Yumm. The portobello and veggie omelette were delicious and the house potatoes were cooked perfectly well.

The waitstaff was really friendly, and the veggies and hash brown were really tasty, but the coffee wasn't very good at all, the jam was Smucker's single serving packets that were mostly or entirely not fruit, and I'm not sure but I think the syrup was not pure maple.

Yes, reservations even for breakfast. We were lucky, we walked in and were seated. I had the stuffed french toast and my husband had the pancakes. Food was excellent.

We were seated in a back room near a gas fireplace. There was an unpleasant odor caused by the fireplaceWe sat there for about 10 minutes before a waitress came over and told us that she would be with us in a minute. After a few more minutes a party of 4 was seated and almost instantly another waitress started taking their orders while we still waited to be served. We waited another few minutes and then decided to leave. Then the waitress followed us to the parking lot and said that they were changing waitress. At that point it was too late. I can understand if the place was busy but it was not. We are very disappointed that we weren't even offered a cup of coffee. We went to Mike's American Diner in Arundel and had a great breakfast severed by a excellent waitress.

We enjoyed a small Birthday group there for our daughter, and enjoyed both brunch and lunch entrees. Great Eggs Benedict special, corned beef hash, and scallop appetizer. Very friendly server, and enjoyable time. we'll be returning, as we have recently moved to the area!
