Beamsville Fish And Chips - Welland

Use to love this place. Just paid 23 dollars for 2 child size pieces of fish and like 15 fries!! The gravy is chunky and disgusting! Would definitely never return! Not worth your hard earned dollar!!!

Brutal employees.. didn’t send my full order to my house, when I called to tell them that a bunch of things were missed.. I was told I could come get it if I wanted.When I got there nobody was in the front. So I yelled into the back a few times but couldn’t get anyone’s attention.. so I stuck my head back there to say “hey can I get my stuff you missed” I was told “oh sorry you can’t come into the back” not an “I’m sorry we messed up your order” or any type of apology or customer service what so ever..You don’t want people coming into the back? Maybe get a bell.. or consider that maybe not all your employees need to be in the back chatting..You get my order wrong and I’m forced to leave my home now after ordering delivery.. frankly, I couldn’t care less about your in store policies.. maybe work on getting orders right and some proper customer service.I used to really like this place.. but the people who work there don’t really seem to care about their customers..They also burnt my onion rings..

NEVER again. The following is the identical reason I stopped purchasing fish from this location years ago...an exact repeat. I thought after all the years, and after reading the reviews, maybe they changed and I would give them another try. First time I ordered the fish it was a good size. Second time it was quite a bit smaller but it wasn't worth complaining about it. Both the 1st and 2nd times it was cooked properly. The third time it was so much smaller it would not have fed a child satisfactorily and was way over done...what most people would call burned it was so dark. I realize the size cannot be guaranteed but the piece I received on my third visit should not have been given to a customer especially considering the amount this place charges. I tried biting into this 3rd little, burned mess and had to stop as it was awful. I took off the batter and tried eating a piece of fish but it didn't taste right. The fish went into the garbage where it belonged in the first place.

Went in at 7:30 to place an order but was told no, they already turned the fryers off but they are open untill 8pm. Doesn't make sense.You might want to recheck your camera I didn't place an order or pick up food was turned away told I couldn't order the lady ahead of me picked up ann order .

Went once had the halibut was amazing since then we have tried often to go back but they don't seem to carry it anymore...truly hope they bring it back!
