Waited 2.5 months to get in for dinner which was my partner 's birthday dinner. First , let me say i have travelled extensively to many different countries and eaten at quite a few Michelin Star establishments along the way . The Pearl was a disappointment. We found all the courses to be very one note , not a lot of stand out individual flavors within the courses. Each one was either cold or luke warm , nothing was served hot. On a more positive note the presentation was lovely and the wine pairings were excellent . The wait staff were exemplary with good knowledge of the food ingredients and the wine they were serving. Would I return ..........no I don 't think so.

This place is soooo incredible on so many levels! Food is super creative, very balanced and so fresh. Nothing is exaggerated and everything works perfectly together. An article we had was the Cantaloupe Sorbet, the baby candidate pine cone simply blowing me with this additional depth to taste. I can honestly say that this is the best restaurant I've ever been. The service was very attentive and genuine. Restaurant was spacious, unlike Toronto Restaurant, which makes most of all by squeezing any gap. Every first bite was a surprise and joy. The ride down was worth every second, and this restaurant is worth every penny.

Went in for a tasting menu and was shocked from the lack of professionalism and etiquette from the servers. Several times I was asked “Are you finished?” in the duration of my dinner. I think as server for a fine dining restaurant you should be able to tell, whether it be through the progress of the plate or simply asking the guests in a more pleasant manner. I didn’t even eat half of one of the dishes and a server asked “Are you finished?”. Ridiculous. I felt rushed and this is not how a tasting menu should be. Couldn’t enjoy the food and was rushed through every course although I arrived on time. Disappointed.
