I must say that it was the best wake we’ve ever attended. A gorgeous private space, delicious, beautifully presented food and wonderful staff. Even the music in the background was lovely. Faultless. Used to be great and went there often. Great food, amazing wait staff. We booked on the 14th Sept, was told upon being seated that we needed to order all food and drinks over the bar. We were a bit shocked as when planning to spend around $400 $500 for 2 on food, good wine and cocktails over a couple of hours, table service is to be expected. Entree small share menu looks much the same, but mains are just a glorified bar menu with burgers etc. No chef specials or the delicious seafood or fench dishes that used to be present. We got up and left, very dissapointing and won't be back. What made it even more peculiar is there were 2 people behind the bar, 2 wait staff that were standing around doing absolutely nothing at all... as only 4 other people in the place.

Good food, nothing absolutely amazing but it was tasty and there were good portions of everything. It’s a huge contrast to the pub downstairs so don’t be deceived when you walk in downstairs, the upstairs is modern and spacious. The service was fantastic and everything came out quickly.
