Manna - WATER MILL

We were shown in a Drab dining room with loud music and no people so terrible I wanted to go. The owner came out and convinced us to move to an outdoor table. They were very accommodating because it was my birthday, free drinks, appetizers and dessert. Nevertheless, very expensive for a hearty South Italian dinner.

Lovely evening, just expensive. Two adults no alcohol, no dessert , $200 seems steep, but that's just me I guess.

Most bizarre experience of my life. We ordered what I thought was there sharing menu for four people and waited two hours to get a plate of fish and then another half hour to get a plate of meat with no sides or accompaniments. Was shocked when I got the bill and I was charged $20 for a glass of Malbec and $20 for a shot of tequila. Will never ever ever ever ever ever go back and I hope that anybody who sees this review will never ever ever ever go the first time!!

We were last booking for a Thursday night. The boss has agreed to take the lobster fra Diablo out of the bowl for me. Delicious food. Only negative was a very loud air conditioning in a second floor window opposite from the restaurant's outdoor seating, which was operated all night with a very loud, very bold sound that really pampered an atmosphere that the restaurant tried to create. Otherwise, the food and the service were excellent.

We Specifically requested a round table, called to confirm that this was possible and was told yes, when we arrived they did not have round table. They changed menu from a la carte, which was excellent the many times we ate there before, to family style and choices were limited and made no sense at all. They never alerted us of the change when confirming and it is not a concept that works for everyone. It was expensive, not good choice of dishes and not plentiful. We were 8 guests and none of us felt the new concept worked. We were very disappointed as our previous experiences there were very good. We spoke with chef and staff and they clearly did not care, they said it was the first night they were doing this and it is what it is.
