Again, my favorite thing about any experience is the customer service aspect and she has nailed it. She was personal and attentive. She expected needs and met them. I have a south or a burger and it was great. I also liked the garlic and the sweet potato fries.
Red Robin is always good. You have been insane short hours lately due to lack of employment. This place is closed at 7:00. Everyone there was very friendly and we were very careful. I like that they have the gluten-free bread and prepare the frits in a gf dedicated fryer.
Should have been 5 stars, with the exception of a small Snafu at the beginning. By putting ourselves in the restaurant, which was quite empty in the late afternoon, the hostess tried to sit at a table that had to pass the entire kitchen and a part of this table is exposed to the kitchen. The dining room is almost empty and we asked to find another table where she wondered why not this work. We were given 1 menu for a party of 2 that corrects it. The restaurant was clean the service from this point forward was good. The food was delicious. Will post the picture of the unusual table. Would recommend.
My son reminded me it has been exactly a year since we started coming here regularly. It had been maybe 20 years since I had been in a red robin. I liked red robin but this location which is the only one in the area, is in an intersection that is just stressful to drive to for takeout and not close to where I live. A year ago my son had asked about a blue cheese burger and I remembered red robin allowed blue cheese as an option so we ordered. I was impressed with the choices of topping and sauces for free for takeout. I also was happy they gave extra fries for takeout since we cant eat in since we have a family member with a serious medical issue. I have only ordered take out, and while there have been a few mistakes and I have placed over 30 orders so it is understandable, most of the time it is so well packed and ready to go when we arrive. I do check all my orders before I go since there is nothing they can do once you go home unless you want to return. When medical issues come up and we have long days especially having to travel to SLC, I hate to say we have to get takeout a few times a week. I try to have a few go to locations and by far this last year Red robin has been the most asked for by our family. I also feel better when having to rely on takeout, that they have the options of side salads, brocolli , carrots or fruit (though Ill admit the fries are good). Out of my 5 go to takeout out places this year, Red robin has been the best as far as quality, value and service. Several other favorite place went downhill but Red robin has been pretty consistent all year. I appreciate the friendly staff that has taken care of us. Many times when we order it has been a long day for us and being able to pick up such a well packed meal in minutes and go home and have no worries has been such a blessing.
We came in about 8:30pm and they were able to seat us within 10 mins. Upon getting our table, we waited about 10 mins for our waitress. When she came and took our drink orders, she stood at one end of the table making the other end having to yell out their order. We had 8 in our party. I personally would 've liked her to come around to our side of the table to get our order. Our drinks came out pretty fast and we got our order in at a reasonable time. They brought out complimentary basket of fries. About 15 mins later and this is where it all turned. 2 burgers came out first. 1 looked fine while the other was still red. About 15 more minutes, 2 more burgers came out. 1 was totally fine and guess again, the other was red. But this time, the meat was bleeding....both RAW burgers were sent back. We waited for our waitress to get it recooked. 5 mins later, the final burgers from our order came out. Both were totally fine. Our waitress did not bring out our food. They had two others who helped. We had the bottomless Mac and cheese and the side, and just to get another side took 15 mins. We only saw our waitress maybe 3 times. She didn 't come check on how we were doing, how the burgers came out, any refills, etc. We had to flag her down. We even had to ask another waiter if they could help us. The two recooked burgers came out and guess what??? It was BURNT and flat. Flatter than a pancake is what it felt like. Our waitress FINALLY came and the first thing she said was I 've already sent your checks, you can pay on this machine. She didn 't even ask if we needed anything, napkins, Togo boxes, refills, etc. we then waited about another 15 mins waiting for her and asked if we can talk to a manager. The manager came out, we explained the situation on the two raw burgers and the service on refills, bottomless sides, etc. She apologized and stated that it had been a weird night due to the fair being in town. She took the two burgers off the tab. When it finally came down to pay, that 's when we saw our waitress multiple times within the 10 mins. She kept coming to check in on us. The only great thing was WES. He was the one who brought out our food. He always had a smile on his face and was so helpful with getting anything we needed. When my daughter 's balloon popped, he rushed over with another balloon. Overall, very, very disappointed.
