I know the website state menu items can change, they will react with the nationwide lack of products it is difficult to get deliveries, but seriously if their printed menus are up to date their online menu should also be because guess what? there is no printing involved! the height of the wee that was available, again, weeping on the online menu were not on the printed weeping list, mediocre was best still the brandup was extreme. Thirdly, the time we waited for our food was unacceptable and when it arrived, it was cooked cold. the cabernet sauce with the chateabriand tasted no different than a glass shop bought brown engraving the duck, ordered medium rare, but served almost medium-heavy cold. the filet mignon was boiled on request, but hardly warm the Bernaise sauce tasted just like the packed powder mixture that it received in food business. nothing special or unique. next missing the service. our server apologised for the time it needed to get our wein later our meal times, and said that one of their server had to leave unexpectedly due to disease, but there were other support so that our water should have been refilled several times, but we had to ask for fillings they would help supply food before it became cold. all dinge considered the price we paid over $200 was not worth what we have the over 4 star rating is unnoticed. because we were not the only two in our party, we decided not to express our disappointment complaint at that time.
Everything we ordered arrived cold. Three items that we ordered, the waitress came back and told us they didnât have it anymore. And we were at the restaurant very early. The waitress was Brand New and didnât know anything about the food and couldnât answer any questions.
We were all very pleased with our experience at Aragosta. The ambiance was very nice, the service attentive and the food well prepared and excellent. A nice touch was the chef/owner stopping by our table twiceâonce to deliver our meals and once to make sure weâd had a good experience.
I sung here on a work trip to St. George. I have to say it was the best meal of my trip. The service was excellent. The food is well prepared. The house salad was worth the price and artistically prepared and presented. A free portion of lemon sorbet was served to clean the pallet. The deer of the scallops was perfectly prepared and complemented with Risotto and a divine sauce. I also ordered a side of mixed vegetables think the Risotto could be too much coal for my diet. But everything was so good that I ended it and didn't feel any guilt at all. The atmosphere is beautiful. I recognize many fine restaurants that know how to serve and prepare a fine meal like to call that culinary experience with a conscious architecture or decoration that stimulates the connection to New Orleans; but this meal was better than the typical Rich sauce, Push-the-Limits in New Orleans. I would like to welcome this Aragosta experience to most similar restaurants where I have dined in NOLA. My compliments to the chef(s), waiters and employees who take me on Tuesday night. Advice for restaurants in St. George? give Aragosta an attempt; it was a pleasant experience. Also, in setting your expectations for your reservation, account for the fact that my review for a Tuesday night, if Diners are looking for a table is not what you would expect for a Friday or Saturday night. On a Tuesday evening I went in and was provided a table without a reservation in advance. However, I can easily see where this jewel can be in high demand and short supply.
Aragosta?s was the most beautiful restaurant I've ever eaten, and it wasn't disappointed by the least. The host, Ben, was very warm and polite, and our waitress Kara was also exceptional. The atmosphere was pleasant? simple and not too above the top, which was great. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have never eaten in such a beautiful place, and it was a divine culinary experience. The escargot was very good, and our ducks were cooked for perfection. I got the Filet Mignon and my wife got the lobster ravioli The presentation and taste were perfect. The cook even prepared us a special dessert look as we celebrate our 2-year anniversary. We had a wonderful time and will certainly come back at the next visit to St George.
