Not here since 2013. glad we came back. fish and chips were excellent. I told my husband that I loved eating more than cooking at home. delicious! friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere.

This place was recommended to us because of the food. Indeed the food was tasty (we had broasted chicken) and was a substantial portion. However, staff seemed aloof and not particularly attentive (both of these have nothing to do with being short staffed as it wasn't particularly busy). We'd go back because of the food and keep our expectations on great service limited.Answer to question: We dined on Jan 7 around 8ish. We sat at the bar.

We ordered the broasted chicken that came with wedge potatoes and coleslaw tonight. what we got was 4 heavily fried chicken with 4 pieces of the worst quality chicken. and dripping in grease wedge potatoes and NO coleslaw. My husband called when he got home with the order andvthey said it's not fried it's their broasted chicken...and didn't care if we didn't get the coleslaw which probably would've been the best thing on this order. if you want a beer..that is the place to go...they are not good with cocktail drinks I've had in the past. It is ashame it's so close and convenient but we are not going there anymore.

Our go to pub! We love this local tavern. Best Reuben around! Monday Burger special cannot be beat. Stop in for a pint.

I got the Slim Jake. Very good food. Service was excellent.
