It's a bit challenging to review this restaurant because it's fantastic about 70% of the time, but there are occasions when the food misses the mark, which can be disappointing. The owner, Jeannette, greets you personally when you arrive, which is a nice and efficient touch. However, service has been slower lately, possibly due to being short-staffed. The noise level has also increased since the expansion, making it rather uncomfortable—adding sound absorption panels could easily resolve this issue. I likely won’t return during peak hours because of the noise.

The food was excellent, and our server was attentive. Although the meal took a little longer to arrive, they were clearly busy. The most frustrating aspect of this restaurant is the parking situation.

It's such a shame because the interior is lovely, the menu is impressive, and the food is usually quite good. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The owner was chatting with a friend at the bar instead of assisting customers, and while the owner's wife was milling about, only two tables had received their meals. Getting drink refills is challenging, and the wait times for food are always too long, no matter what day it is.

Food was pretty good, the vibe was a little off. Not sure if it was the lighting or layout but wouldn't hesitate to go back for a business or family meal. Probably go elsewhere for a romantic meal.

After we informed the waitress that we weren't interested in drinks, the service took a turn for the worse. It became curt and somewhat aggressive. The soup we ordered was disappointing—just four noodles floating in a broth that seemed to have separated, accompanied by a few slices of lettuce to add some flair. I would recommend it only to those who enjoy reheated canned soup. My salad appeared to be a generic bagged variety, with large white chunks but so little dressing that I initially thought it was served dry. On a positive note, the blackened chicken was quite good. Overall, for $30 per person, this was the worst dining experience I’ve had since returning to Michigan. I would definitely recommend steering clear of this place.
