Proudfoots Boathouse - Warrnambool

Beaut little spot for an afternoon coffee. Service very friendly and relaxed. Only negative would be there was no cake or excessively decadent chocolate looking treats, that I did not need but just wanted. I cannot be bothered ordering a dessert with my cuppa. The yoyo however was tasty. Have been here for seafood a while back and it has always been very nice.

I struggle to find words to describe how bad this place is. The food is terrible, tastes old and like it had be reheated in the microwave. The staff are inexperienced and seem to care more about texting on their mobile phones than attending to customers. All i could hear was the roaring voice of the head chef swearing at his kitchen staff. . Not a good sound from a customers perspective! The only good thing about this place is the view.

This place needs so much love and a very big refurb. It could be amazing, such a stunning view. The smell as you enter downstairs puts you off immediately and it just looks dirty. I would not bring visitors to the region here for anything but coffee. The owner is super friendly but sadly the staff fell very short in the friendly department the day we visited. Could be excellent.

Went to proudfoots boathouse the other week and couldn't fault the services, the two young waitresses were very cheerful and looked very happy to be there, they created a very positive environment and were very easy to talk too, they were very attentive to us, the food was great and couldn't fault the rump steak, very well presented, when we went up to pay the waiter behind the bar did not look like he wanted to be there, other then that couldn't fault anything, definitely will be going back!

As locals we were looking for a change so headed to proudfoots, unfortunately we were quite disappointed.The service was attentive but rushed, we were enjoying a drink and chatting with friends and kept getting asked every minute if we were ready to order when it was only 7.45pm. The menu is ok, but the food was average. 2 people chose the pork special (after trying to order the pork belly which was replaced by the special), the waitress couldn't actually tell us what it was other than it was 'kind of like a stew'! It was extremely salty to the point they couldn't finish it. We were not offered dessert and when we asked they only had 2 things available, not sure what happened to the rest as the restaurant was not busy. We decided to move on for dessert and drinks elsewhere.
