After tasting we bought some, the young girl that served us had a nice smile and knew how to help customers, so young so customer Smart, we bought some more goodies and i Noticed on the counter a long grainy sort of ciabatta close to our goods I moved it away and shopped some more then returned and the loaf was there Again alongside our goods, I finally said that ciabatta is Not Ours, she tallied up our goods and said that is a gift from the shop....Stunned we said Thanks and left, Later that day we tried the grainy ciabatta and it was delicious...My wife laughed and Said it takes the Netherlanders to teach you Aussies about customer service...She is a Netherlander.....lucky me... If you like European delicacies this is the place to shop. Mooi Winkel.... from Brabantse mense.
A must stop for local and non local foods. Organic and from what I am told a really really good coffee
A great find in Warrnambool catering to all deli and condiment needs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to tourists. Definitely worth a visit to stock the pantry or collect delicious tidbits for a gourmet meal.
I went in for something warm during my lunch break.I have a medical condition that prevents me from eating certain acidic foods ie tomatoes and salad dressing. Due.to this I asked if it was possible to have a pie without salad and how much it would cost. I was basically lectured about why it would cost the same price for the pie with or without salad. It was condescending and rude. I left feeling like I was not good enough to be in the store. I will not be back & I will be telling people about my experience.
Very misleading, this cafe has a massive sign saying organic coffee and gourmet food, which we were very excited about finally finding a place with ethical coffee and food in the region. However on going to order it turns out they use mass produced unethical Woolworths milk and don't even make their own food so couldn't even tell us if the food contained free range or caged eggs. If you are looking or somewhere with ethical food or organic just for your health look elsewhere. I
