Nonna Casalinga - Warrnambool

Was excited to visit my favourite Warrnambool restaurant but after getting a seat realised things looked different....So sad nonna is no longer here! Goat is ok but bring back Nonna :(

Can't fault the food, very nice pasta (we had the gnocchi and a pumpkin ravioli). Only issue was the service - our waiter appeared to only provide attention to those around us, who were clearly locals. No time for us 'out of towners'. Said hardly a word to us or smiled the whole night. Perhaps they were down on staff as she seemed to be running the whole restaurant floor herself, but still it's pretty easy to show basic pleasantries to your paying customers.

The best for fine dining in Warrnambool, the meals are superb and the service is amazing! Meals are priced well! Great for couples or friends!

We started as table of two then ended up as four. They accommodated the changes without any problems.I was recommended the fish (snapper) which was lighter meal sitting in ratatouille. Perfect.Our waitress knew her menu and was very efficient.The oyster starter were a great start to our meal.Steak was cooked perfectly.Not cheap but well worth coming here for some great food.

Couldn't get in the Pickled Pig on a weekday. Went over the road to this lovely restaurant. Wasn't disappointed. Friendly welcome. Excellent food and local wines. Don't miss this lovely restaurant.
