Faang Thai - Warrenton

We almost overlooked Faang Thai, but one night we decided to give it a try, and we've since returned many times! The menu is straightforward—not overly exotic—but it covers all the essentials. Our kids love the pad Thai (though it's not our favorite), and the green curry is excellent. However, it’s the pho that truly changed my opinion. I’ve never been a huge fan, but my wife was tired of sharing hers with me. It’s genuinely delicious, and they give a generous portion of beef, chicken, or shrimp (as seen in the attached photo). It’s the perfect meal. The prices are budget-friendly, and we’ve never left feeling hungry or dissatisfied. They strike just the right balance between price, comfort, and taste. The ambiance may not be fancy, but they do what they do very well. The staff is always patient and knowledgeable, which is great since my family often needs gluten-free options. They’ve consistently been friendly, regardless of who is serving us during our visits. And let's not forget—Sundays feature semi-open wine (at least since March 2022), which is a nice bonus! We will definitely be back.

I was never a big fan, but now my wife is tired of sharing it with me! It’s exceptionally good, with generous portions of beef, chicken, or shrimp (see the attached photo). It’s the perfect meal. The prices are reasonable, and we've never left feeling hungry or unsatisfied. They strike a great balance of price, comfort, and taste. While the ambiance isn't fancy, they execute what they do very well. The wait staff are always patient and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to gluten-free options for my family, and we've experienced friendly service from various servers during our visits. Plus, Sundays feature semi-open wine (at least since March 2022), which is a great bonus! We’ll definitely be back without hesitation.

I had a fantastic dinner at Faangthai! The meal was outstanding, and our service was quick and attentive. The drunken noodles were superb, and the Siam beef was delicious.

We lived five years in Thailand and FAANGTHAI is authentic; Food tastes great and can be as mild or spicy as you want. Always order the sticky rice and mangos to dessert, you will be happy that you have done it! Great fast service!( Picture is from my parents meeting the king and queen of Thailand in 1973)

We started off with the grilled bacon wrapped scallops. They had a wood fired flavor and were amazing. I had the Pho which was fabulous. The beef wasn't chewy like a lot of others. The noodles were great. The fresh lime, bean sprouts, jalapeno and basil added just the right flavor. The wife had the Rama Chicken which she enjoyed. She said it just the right amount of spice and wasn't to much heat for her liking. Service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
