Carousel Frozen Treats - Warrenton

I work just across the street and have visited this restaurant several times throughout the seasons, and it’s usually been a good experience. However, I’ve been there twice this year and encountered nothing but issues. Both times, my order seemed to get lost while everyone else’s was served. All I wanted was a hot dog with ketchup and mayo, along with an orange dreamsicle shake with chocolate syrup. When I finally received my order, it was just a plain hot dog without any toppings and the shake was missing the chocolate. Why does it take so long to get such a simple order right?

We’ve been visiting this place quite frequently lately. The malts are fantastic!

I'm gradually exploring the ice cream places around here, and Carousel came highly recommended. We arrived at a perfect time because a long line formed shortly after we did. I tried the small Peanut Butter Cup Deluxe, which featured vanilla ice cream, bits of Reese's cup, peanut butter sauce, and hot fudge. I think I would have preferred chocolate ice cream instead. The sauces tended to settle at the bottom, but overall it was a delicious sundae. Seating can be a bit tight since the tables are quite large for just one or two people. I'm also eager to check out their hot food offerings.

This charming old-school dessert and snack spot is a hidden gem. There are tables where you can sit, and you simply place your order at a quaint booth-like area. I have a special appreciation for places like this, as they remind me of my childhood and seem to be disappearing. We tried the Funky Monkey sundae, which was absolutely delicious! It included brownies, bananas, and even a fun little toy. Their soft serve is fantastic, and I adore the cute decorations throughout the place. It’s clear they’re always bustling with customers!
