Charlie's Gelato Garden - Warkworth

Have been to Charlies so many times as it is one of my favourite places to get ice cream. Every time I've been, they've had excellent service and the best selection of ice cream! I have the loyalty card, so finally received my free scoop.  The only problem is the almost fixed line, but that just shows how popular the place is. Always get the apple crumble ice cream as it is my absolute favourite. Have tried the Christmas cherry and white chocolate and raspberry too, which are both yummy. Definitely recommend visiting if you're up this way, and even if you're not, as it is worth the drive!

Yumminess!!!! Every time we visit Matakana we pop into Charlie’s. Their gelato is amazing, love the selection too! I had a double scoop cone with honey and almond as well as pistachio. My husband had the caramel sundae, he ate it in no time as it was so delicious. In the store around the corner you will find beautiful strawberries and other delicious treats.

Charlie's is packed on a rainy day. There are long queues that went outside the main door. There's a huge selection of both gelato and sorbets. They have award winning flavours including Liquorice and Chai Latte but we loved the chocolate sorbet the most!

Great place to stop over on the way to goat island and experience some delicious ice creams and affagato. Good customer service as well. This place is highly recommended!

The gelato at this place is out of this world, I had the Almond and Honey flavour which was oozing with natural honey and flavours. Would definitely recommend to drop by if you are in the area.
