We have been dining here regularly as one of our fav spots to grab a bite before a movie. The new addition to the menu which we love at the moment is the beef brisket quesadilla - we have also previously enjoyed the grilled chicken & mexico city pork quesadilla & charred corn. I really love their pineapple & mint aguas frescas (made in house). Service is always fast and friendly. An improvement suggestion would be to offer a loyalty club for your regulars & loyal customers.
Enjoyed a feed on sat nite. Enjoyed the pork quesadilla and my partner attacked the fish burrito. The pork was lovely with a bit of a kick and the fish burrito was fresh but needed a bit more fish. Service was very good and the tap lager was nice. Very lively atmosphere!
Stopped in for a casual afternoon quick lunch. The service was great but the food was a little hit & miss, we ordered assorted tacos - pulled pork, fish, chicken which were terribly under seasoned - but we also ordered the Guacamole which was very over seasoned, I guess it balances out..... Yes I will return because I like the concept & the menu but they need to get more consistent.
We only chose to eat here because it was empty on a Thursday whilst all our other choices were bustling and too busy for us to get a quick bite. This was our third visit, the first was great, the second so-so and this time around we will not be back. First off, the drinks menu is limiting and small. The lemonade bought out was small enough to be drunk in one big gulp by an adult. I ordered the "sugar cane cola" which turned out to be coke in a glass bottle. I don't understand why they don't just promote it as it's original self but so be it. I am unable to eat aioli due to it containing raw eggs so I found it hard to find something decent to eat. Almost everything had aioli in it as the "sauce" so to remove it would be making a dry and unenjoyable meal. There was no option to swap it for another sauce so we were disappointed to say the least. We opted for a burrito and quasedilla with a side of chipotle chips. The chips came out almost immediately with a chipotle sauce so I figured it best to ask a staff member if it contained raw egg. There was no one serving to answer my question and the only staff to be seen were in the kitchen and were unapproachable. We had expected the chips to arrive with the other meals as we had asked for it as a side dish, not an entree. We did wait a while thinking the other meals were coming however they were getting cold so we ate them anyways. 15 minutes later we received our other food. It was presented nicely however that was about it. The chicken and beans tasted extremely burnt giving off an overpowering charred taste. This was not finished in the slightest due to being gross. The quasedilla was just okay, however the tortilla was almost like a roti bread and was not cooked through so was extremely doughy and unenjoyable also. The pork was just warm and accompanied by a cold salsa so it wasn't a nice texture to eat an almost cold dish. I understand why it was quiet in there, $48 for 2 people to not enjoy a meal is outrageous.
