I had prawn dumplings, which were presented in banana palm baskets on black plates, accompanied by ABC sauce served in red spoons. Very attractive and yummy. My partner had amazing roast pork with beautiful crackling.

This is a great place to go to if you want a really homely meal. I have eaten here twice and loved the food. This time I chose braised chops and they were delicious and tender. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her chicken parmigiana

Laneway restaurant in the Wangaratta Club was a pleasant surprise. The best service and food ever. Salmon Wellington was superb as was the roast lamb.

My husband organised a Christmas breakup dinner for fifteen people from his workplace, at short notice. The staff were very welcoming and the table was beautifully decorated with bon-bons and other Christmas decorations. Everyone was thrilled with the new management and the menu was well-priced. There were plenty of choices and the quality was vastly improved from the previous owners. There are a good variety of drinks at club prices and plenty of parking on site or nearby.

Very easy to arrange a barefoot bowls session at the last minute for work colleagues. Staff very helpful.When we arrived, Keith from the Oven's Bowling Club was there to great us. He was very friendly and a great teacher. Wangaratta club staff were very helpful and friendly and made special effort for our dinner to be ready just after we finished barefoot bowls. Good simple food and they were able to work around dietary requirements.A great evening thanks to friendly staff and an excellent teacher in Keith
