Durie Hill Fish Shop - Wanganui

I read the reviews and they did not let me down. The fish must be the freshest around. The burger was fantastic, especially with all the extras included. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips were just the way we like them—golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Whanganui. Thank you for a wonderful meal and the fabulous, friendly service!

I ordered the certified fish and chips here instead of St John's Hill during our visit to Whanganui. We were thoroughly impressed! The fish was fantastic, the sausages were great, and the prices were incredibly affordable. Thank you!

After reading the reviews, we decided to try the absolutely fantastic fish and chips. To make it a complete experience, they should really offer tomato sauce. We’ll definitely be going back!

Although I gave 5 stars, the hot dog from the $20 pack-- with said that we don't miss it as there were additional fish.... delicious, very fresh fish. Extremely good value for 20 dollars, we have a few leftovers... Donuts were also pretty good. Edit: The menu has changed! See the new picture

Whole family enjoyed the food, was crispy and fresh. Didn't wait long despite being busy and was served with a smile.
