Przekaż informację zwrotnąAs soon as I heard the name and read about the concept of the Chicken Shop I knew that it would be love: free-range chicken, a choice between two sauces and a tempting dessert menu. I completely overestimated my capabilities and decided to order half a chicken, crinkle cut fries, ginger beer and a slice of apple pie with ice cream for dessert. The waiting time was relatively short despite it being quite busy which is always a plus; the service definitely gets a thumbs up from me. So what did I think?
I was just in the industry to drive the chicken shop after a somewhat disappointing experience last time; and it was so much better! the service was attentive and charming, especially the managerin and eating was simply delicious. huh was the best thing I had moorish, moist and smokey and the sides of buttersalat and coleslaw also beautifully refreshing. the mais on the cob was not great, but this is a small ding. can not wait to return
Basically we get enamel plates heaped with chicken that you can just grab with your fingers (though I admit I was the only one eating chicken breast with my fingers... That's ok though) and munch away. I ordered corn on the cob too and splurged on the special sauces and butter-sauce (I love how you can just melt butter and then it's sauce It's all very good and exciting.
So first came Dirty Burger in Vauxhall and now, Chicken Shop in Tooting Broadway. Slowly but surely, South London is finally getting its fair share of decent quality cheap eats. Long may the great southern migration continue and hopefully that will mean a few more Chicken Shop’s opening in a neighbourhood near you.
