Pasta Primavera Walnut Creek

A great time as usual with incredible eating. they need to ask and pay for the hot fresh bread.

We had a reservation for 7:15 and arrived on time. there were some people in front of us. that we came at least four or five times and has not recognized. once he asked people if we knew if the people were sitting next to us. he didn't say, but we had a reservation. at this time we had waited for at least ten minutes; with my leaning on my floor. we sat and the service was terrible. it took a long time to order a drink, a long time to get the drinks and then an equally long time to order and get our food. we were told about our server as soon as we set ourselves that we would get water and roll. until my man asked, these things did not come. eating was not bad. it wasn't hot. you can say that it was one of those out there, bad because we like to apply local places.

We made reservations a week in advance thru Open Table for 6:45pm on a Saturday evening. We arrived 5 minutes early and the hostess/waitress seemed very surprised to hear we had a reservation. We were finally seated at 7:25, in their side room. There is little to no ambiance in this room, and should probably just be used for private parties. Our table of six was shown to s table that did not have a tablecloth on it, even though all the other tables did?!? We had to ask for water, dinner rolls, etc. Our server, the blond waitress with the ponytail seemed to be annoyed to be assigned another table.She was abrupt when she took our orders, provided slow service, and finally brought the fresh ground pepper and parmesan cheese around with only two bites remaining. The food is good, and our group enjoyed each other’s company but the service was definitely a disappointing part of the evening.

Fresh salads, pasta dishes are generous, nice ambiance for business lunch.

I ordered the Greek salad $9.95). The waitress suggested to add a protein and I chose chicken. The bill came and the add on chicken was an ADDITIONAL $11.95!! So for $22, I received a small Greek salad with one kebab serving of chicken. I feel that was quite overpriced
