Sunrise Bistro - Walnut Creek

We chose HappyCow app for lunch. So hard to find parking for tff he e restaurant we chose that we parked away and planned to go. Fortunately, Sunrise was just a few steps from our car. Very helpful staff helped us know what vegan options were and what you could call vegan. Delicious!

They used to have the best tofu scrambble, but unfortunately don't use tofu anymore. The only thing you can get for breakfast is the potatoes, without the eggs and cheese. It's good, but I was disappointed with the change.

There are several excellent vegan dishes available at this restaurant, including a tofu scramble, tofu breakfast bowl, and tofu breakfast burrito. It's important to note that the tahini dressing contains honey, but the staff was considerate enough to inform me of this.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Sunrise offers three vegan options for breakfast, which is rare for most restaurants. I tried the tofu hash and it was both satisfying and delicious. It's a great place to visit with a non-vegan friend, as you both will leave feeling happy and full.

While traveling, we used our HappyCow app to find a restaurant for lunch. It was difficult to find parking near the restaurant we had chosen, so we parked further away and decided to walk. Luckily, Sunrise was just steps from where we parked. The staff was very helpful and assisted us in navigating the vegan options and adjusting dishes to make them vegan. The food was delicious!
