Steak was good but a little much seasoning for me (Kansas folks here were we use minimal seasoning as it intrudes on meat flavor, granted midwestern cows are on a different diet and it can change meat flavor). Potatoes were crisp and spot on. Now the honey walnut shrimp was insanely good. Our server was Matt and he was great, attentive and not intrusive. Even asked for brutal honesty on food. Great job Matt.
A great hangout spot for elevated local food and imaginative cocktails. Haters may say it's a bit loud inside but what do you expect when everyone is having a good time? Most of the dishes are or are based off of local favorites but always have one or two creative flourishes that set them apart from even really well done analogues. I doubt you can go wrong with anything but the favorite of our group was the Seafood Cake Noodle. It's a Hawaiian-Chinese dish that has always been a favorite of mine as a kid but it was nice to see it so well represented here.
Very welcoming staff. Great looking restaurant. Easy parking. Clean bathrooms. The food we had was great, Saimin, Kalbi, Fat Noodle, Hamachi and Burger. Only one thing they can improve with the Kalbi is to either cut it thinner or into smaller bites flavor is spot on but was a bit hard to bite into at times. Most of all I loved the vibe of the place. We came on a Monday night and the place was filled with locals of all kinds — people getting off work, families, friends, couples, etc. overall having a great time.
Food was so good! Pork belly, garlic chicken and shoyu poke was good
Disappointing to go in with my kids to meet dad after work and the greeter had nothing to say to me besides how long will we be and we were only allowed to be there for a two hour time limit. I’ve never heard of something like that ever!!!
