Bay View Cafe - Wailuku

This is the absolute best loco moco I've ever had! The rice was perfectly tender, the gravy was delicious, and of course, the beef patty was cooked just right. The view is also amazing. We are definitely coming back!

The Wagyu beef burger was incredible! It's a fantastic place to stop while traveling along the winding, one-lane road by the cliffside.

The food was indeed of high quality, as mentioned in other reviews. However, we had to wait 50 minutes for it. We arrived when the parking lot was nearly full around lunchtime. After placing our order and making the payment, we were informed that it would take about 20 minutes. Since we were on vacation and our time is valuable, I was disappointed with how our time was managed. The owner should have informed us before we paid that the wait would be 50-60 minutes; had we known, we might have chosen to eat elsewhere and possibly returned later to try the BVC.

First off, you won't get a better view... anyplace. We had shrimp bowl and a burger, both very good. Make it a destination, trip there amazingly beautiful.
