The Mill House - Waikapu

The location is great and so was eating. with that said I was rather deceived when we celebrated my birthday and I called in and ordered a dessert with candle and everything that should be brought out after dinner as a surprise. they took dessert menus, so I thought they forgot, we're done and asked for the bill. they saw that it was on the bill, then they brought out a creepy one, but it just felt like a afterthought at the end I would go back there, as eating was really good, but I don't think I would celebrate everything, as my progressive questions were forgotten in the round until the meal was over. *with the host, the happy birthday said when she sat.

Great view and beautiful, cooler place service very good, but eating is just so and expensive for what they get.

Our experience in the mill house was exceptional. Eating and service were both much better than we had expected and, very unique location, history and ambiente. would definitely recommend.

Decor is interesting and adds to the experience. Tables on the mountain side have a fabulous view. Waiter was good, but tended to hover at the table. Sommelier was fantastic. He spent a lot of time asking what we preferred in a wine before making a recommendation and it was spot on. Food was terrific, but the includes sides were very small. That and the prices dropped the ranking for value, but we will return for the view.

Enjoyed a delicious farm to table experience in the most beautiful setting. This venue is amazing in every way the service from start was great as the server gave us the table we requested. We had great menu suggestions for our vegetarian palette and I’d recommend the eggplant dish for sure! Highly recommend this as a half day outing or a stop enroute to the airport.
