Saffron - Waco

Visiting Waco for the first time, driving down Valley Mills we saw this beautiful place proudly wearing it 's name Safron as a hat. Intrigued we had to stop to take picture and check out the menu. We were lovingly greeted by Lamisa. As she explained the menu I could see the dishes coming out the kitchen, each one smelled so good I could taste them. I ordered the butter chicken, plain naan, samosas, and chicken sheekh kabab, each one was freshly made and tasted so good we couldn 't stop eating. The restaurant was also beautifully filled with decorations that made us feel immersed into the culture. We cannot wait to visit Waco again, so we can eat here again! Thank you so much Saffron for such a beautiful experience!

Wow, my new favorite restaurant for sure! I have fallen in love with their food especially the butter chicken and Karahi chicken! I wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars because they are the best by far! Every time I go I get take out and it is always fast, hot, perfectly cooked and delicious! The rice is so good I could eat it alone and be so happy! I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!

Found this place on Yelp. Just looking for a quick snack before our dinner reservation later tonight. So glad we came in. The service was super friendly and she helped us pick 2 delicious items. Veggie Samosa Chaat and Ragda Pattices with a side of nuclear naan. Just what we were looking for! Wish we had time to eat more?.Everything looked so good

Honestly I'm upset I cannot give this place 10 stars. This is my wife and I's favorite restaurant in Waco. Our favorite thing to do is bring someone new here and it always lives up to the hype. If you have not been here go and order some samosas and any number of entrees. Also very important that you do not skip out on an order of Naan bread because simply put it is the best I have ever had.

Fresh, delicious food with friendly and prompt service! The decor is simple but nice. Indian music plays softly. I had the Bhuna Lamb (spicy) with Garlic Naan. The flavor was well balanced and very tasty! I would like to try the buffet next time. It's served Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM 2:30 PM. Definitely coming back!
