Vino Italian Bistro - Virginia Beach

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the great atmosphere and fantastic service staff. The food was well-seasoned and the portion sizes were excellent. It was our first visit, and I had heard so many good things about this place. However, the one disappointment was that our pasta was overcooked. I was taken aback because I didn't expect that from such a well-regarded restaurant. I had the Alfredo, which was tasty, but there was too much sauce—so much that the noodles were almost drowning in it, turning it into something more like a soup. My partner's penne was also overcooked, but it still tasted good. I ended up using the bun from my pasta to enjoy with the bread. And I must say, the brownie was to die for! We will definitely be coming back.

Not satisfied overall was eating not necessarily top notch and waitress was not good at all. there are other Italian places that I prefer to go to get a around 5 star experience within 10 minutes from this place. I want to take a second to make a cry out to the newer waitress that was while I was there, I think her name was shannon. she had to get in on my table and pick up for the **** my waitress had left. that was the only and bright spot and it is safe to say that I will not return to vino.

Nice, clean atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food. Nothing to complain about.

The bread they served reminded me of a pale white loaf and came with some butter that wasn’t very flavorful. I ordered the Fatime with prosciutto, mushrooms, olives, and mozzarella, along with a side Caesar salad. The lunch menu offers an excellent deal: “10 for $12.” The lunch portions were generous yet well-proportioned. Great prices overall! I would definitely come back for a date.

We had a wonderful time with our friends on our first visit. Our server, Lori W., did an outstanding job taking care of us. The Oysters Rockefeller and calamari were fantastic. However, the veal cutlets were a bit tough, or I would have given the restaurant 5 stars. The flavor was excellent!
