I found this place only because I was in search of butchers and a place to learn Well, I learned this place has an awesome, awesome lunch menu The menu is NOT big but this menu is out of the park I have had lunch twice and i will say their Brisket Sandwich is wonderful and the Roast Beef Sandwich was well Out of the park They have a Cuban which is my next choose They also have a daily weekly special that changes You have to try this place, It Is NOT fast Food and Extremely worth the small wait. This place is amazing. The sandwiches are impressive, every aspect is meticulously prepared, even the roasted garlic aioli for the fries! Behind the counter they will answer any question you have and make the best suggestions. I've never felt dumb with any question even though I know I probably deserved a smirk or two. Go here, but don't buy all the jowl bacon before I get a chance to get some.

I saw this place on Triple D. Since I live 4 miles away, I had to try it. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich and a side salad. The bread was fresh, homemade. Grilled to a nice crunch but softer inside than a typical panini. The pork was delicious and the portion was large. Seating is limited but the dining area is rustic. The staff is friendly and professional. They had “Nirvana Live” on the audio system. Awesome! Last but not least, I spotted the baked goods display and bought some orange iced cookies. They were fantastic! I will be a regular!

Pendulum is a hidden treasure in the heart of Ghent! After I saw Pendulum featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives I had to try he roast beef sandwich! It did not disappoint! The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable, the staff is kind and friendly and the food was amazing! Our sandwich was so good I returned to the counter to buy some steaks and fresh hot bread for dinner!

Cannot say enough about Dylan and Dana and this Norfolk treasure. They catered our daughter 's wedding a year ago and people still tell us it was by far the best 'wedding food ' they have ever had. A year later, we just went to have lunch--Beef Brisket and the killer fries with the garlic aioli--because even just thinking about the food made us almost literally drool. The service is just as hospitable, welcoming and exemplary as the service they provided a year ago at the wedding. You will LOVE your food AND relational experience at Pendulum.
