Romano's Macaroni Grill Virginia Beach

I went to this restaurant for dinner at 5pm on a Sunday and found that it was nearly empty. After sitting down at our table, I quickly realized why. The floors were sticky, the temperature was uncomfortably warm, the tables were messy, and the seats were torn. Our waiter, Isaiah, was friendly but not very attentive. We had to ask for silverware and bread plates, which he took from another table. Our drinks were never refilled and we were not asked if we wanted dessert. After being ignored for 20 minutes, we had to seek out the hostess to find the manager. Despite finding out the manager was named Heather, someone else came out to address our concerns. This individual was polite but seemed to lack any management experience or training. Until there is new management or a new owner, I would recommend avoiding this place.

I went to this restaurant with my family on Mother's Day. There were 10 of us, and we received excellent service. Although the food took a while to come out, it was understandable as they were very busy. Our server, Samantha, was wonderful. She was attentive, provided quick service, and had a fantastic attitude. She went above and beyond to help everyone, not just her own guests. I hope she gets a promotion! I highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone there was great, from the moment we walked in. We had a reservation but still had to wait, and the host made us feel like we would be taken care of. She worked really hard. I don't know her name, but she deserves recognition. Thank you for a great Mother's Day experience. I am writing this review tonight because I came back with my wife and had another wonderful experience with server Bryce.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant yesterday for a nice dinner. We were helped by Barb, a very friendly woman. We enjoyed spinach artichoke dip, the mamma's trio, lasagna, and decided to take some desserts to go. Everything was tasty and we ended up bringing a lot of leftovers home because we were so full. The unlimited lobster bisque was a nice addition. We were a bit disappointed that they didn't have blood orange tea, but we understand that shipping delays are causing issues. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we will definitely return.

Came in yesterday with my boyfriend for a nice little dinner. We were served by Barb a very kind woman. We had some spinach artichoke dip, the mamma’s trio, lasagna and were convinced to take some deserts to go. Everything was delicious and we ended having to take a lot of it home with us we were so stuffed. The unlimited lobster bisque was a great add on. We were disappointed that there wasn’t any blood orange tea but that’s just the sign of the time with all these shipments being backed up and postponed. It was a lovely little experience and we will definitely be back.

My expectations of this place was blown away. I went here for a date with the wife. Celebrating 10 years. And the service the food everything was too teir 10/10 everything the food was fresh lovely divine to taste. Everything was made fresh in house. Even the Tira Misu. Appetizers where top teir as well. Well worth the price. With it being extremely reasonable in price per meal. Had appetizers main course and dessert and two ordered bar drinks. For less than 80 bucks. The waitress we had to was absolutely kind friendly and extremely informative. I definitely hope to come back here and eat again !.
