Donovan's Reef - VINEYARD HAVEN

The restaurant boasts a stunning view of the water, particularly at sunset, but I found the shrimp to be quite average. Given that it should have been fresh, I expected it to be exceptional, but it was merely decent. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit steep considering the portion sizes. The process is simple: you order at the counter and then choose your own seat, which creates a more efficient dining experience.

This delightful seaside restaurant is located just 500 feet from the ferry landing. The rooftop and deck area are very welcoming, though the views may not be as breathtaking as you might expect. The menu features burgers, lobster rolls, and a selection of cocktails. The food is good, and while the drinks have a trendy flair, they remain fairly typical. One standout feature is their ample patio, where you can purchase casual fare and cocktails from a kiosk, then unwind on a bench while taking in the marina view. It's an ideal spot for both large groups and smaller gatherings of four.

This restaurant is an ideal summer spot for fried seafood! We opted to sit outside at the picnic tables since we brought our dog along, and I appreciated the umbrellas for those wanting some shade. I ordered the lobster roll, which was fairly standard—not exceptional, but not bad either. The whole belly clams were good, though a bit on the smaller side (I know this can vary with the season). The dirty bananas were tasty, but we noticed the staff forgot the banana liqueur a few times while preparing them, leading to a few classic mudslides instead. While that was still enjoyable, they could certainly work on their attention to detail. Overall, it's your typical tourist destination!

Nancy's was phenomenal. From Franklin's outstanding service, care, and conversation with us to the quality of the food served. Highly recommend if you are in the area and need a place with a view to grab a bite. The lobster salad roll was delicious with large chunks of lobster in every bite. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Lobster Toll not so good. Was hard and without flavor. Fries were terrible try using real potato's instead of cheap manufactured product. Still have heartburn for a $50 lunch.
