The worst of bakeries anywhere. Consider this. Ordered a key lime pie. What came: crust like cardboard; filling extended with some kind of fibrous filler (flour? making filling dry and tasteless; topping just a whipped topping , was some mixture of hydrogenated soybean oil and high fructose corn syrup. Their recipe called for green food coloring (food colorings are illegal in European nations as carcinogenic . Green key lime pie? Persian limes are green; Key limes are yellow. Ever been to the Florida? There the key lime pie is yellow, unadulterated.
Dominic and his wife are amazing. Great conversations and provides a nice friendly environment. Baked goods are always top notch and always fresh. Was pretty awesome to visit a shop in a small upstate town that was like this. Definitely recommend. If you're in the area or just passing through definitely check it out.
