Cooley's Stone House Tavern

This is a neighborhood gem. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. It's probably not the best spot for kids. As for parking, it's conveniently located in the village, just off Main Street. The pot roast French dip is definitely worth the wait if parking becomes an issue. I absolutely love their homemade potato chips.

The food in downtown Cooperstown is excellent and reasonably priced. I tried the Reuben Burger, and it was fantastic! I would definitely return.

AMAZING pub food, wings, French dip, and the COWBOY BURGER all slapped. They were willing to switch baseball games on the TV in the back so we could watch a game. Stiff drinks, reasonable prices and an old historical building that you can see leans a bit in the alley. Building has been a bar since the 1800s, step into a piece of Cooperstown history!

If you're seeking a taste of the local cuisine while visiting Cooperstown, this is the spot to choose. One member of our group was craving French onion soup, which she had enjoyed two years ago. Unfortunately, that restaurant had over an hour wait on a Monday evening. I found Cooleys during my search, and we were able to walk right in. The food was excellent and the beer was cold. It has a cozy small-town burger and grill vibe, along with a fantastic menu featuring many great options.

The Cooley's sliders were great. The onion rings were wonderful.
