The prices are a bit expensive. That being said...the dinners were absolutely amazing and delicious. We had the arugula salad and the mixed greens salad. We ordered penne carbonara with a sherry sauce that was out of this world. The other dinner was the mushroom ravioli, equally delicious. Not a huge fan of gorgonzola but it was just enough to compliment the other flavors of the dish. We each had a cocktail, pomegranate Cosmo and a dirty martini. Both done to perfection. The waitress was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive to us. And that was with a packed dining room. All in all, a great night out. Delicious food and great service. Parking was across street, short walk away. Front entry had a few small steps but also a ramp for wheelchair access. If looking for a quaint place with good food, def give this one a try.
As for my meal, I ordered the cod with potatoes, and while it was decent, it wasn’t anything special. On a brighter note, the desserts were absolutely fantastic! I tried both the chocolate tort and the rhubarb tort and can honestly say they were the best I’ve ever had. All things considered, the meal wasn't terrible, and the incredible desserts made the experience memorable. Would I return? Maybe, but only to dine in and get a clearer sense of the menu. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening out.
A fantastic spot for any celebration! The drinks are amazing—I had a superb mocktail made just for me. The food is equally delightful, featuring a compact standard menu filled with hearty options and exciting specials. The appetizers are generously portioned, making them ideal for sharing or enjoying as a meal. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date or a friendly get-together. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had a lovely dinner on the porch after attending a performance at Glimmerglass Opera. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed a delightful meal. For dinner, I recommend trying the Crab Cake and the Grilled Pork Loin. The price per person was between $30 and $50.
Had to wait a half hour for the waitress. After going inside to request service to order drinks we got the host/barkeeper. After our third time going inside to request some bread at least (we sat on their lovely porch) found out the waitress who waited on the tables next to us was ours. She ignored us! Still waiting for drinks. All we had was water and menus. Very disappointing since this restaurant is usually excellent in every way. Our food was beautiful and delish.
