Przekaż informację zwrotnąSad but true...the best thing about this hotel is the view, however, the rest left much to be desired. It looks gorgeous. The service was very poor I had to wave the waiters down several times to order my meal, a drink. The response was, "sure you can order." I know people do go for just drinks but you should ask. I chalked it up to a confusion of language on both parts. The linguine with lobster bisque was okay. Nothing to write home about. But it came after the food was served to the table next to me but who were seated after. I asked the waiter if the food was coming. His response was "of course." Conversations from tables across the room can be heard quite clearly. I may go back just for a drink on the terrace.
The restaurant "grand ferdinand" is part of the five-star hotel in the Wiener city. the pleasant outdoor terrace offers a beautiful view of the green promenade thrusterring. the interior is elegant and very neatly furnished so that we felt the same attracted by the pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers traditional Austrian cooking in the finest version. the menu is rounded off by a wine card with exquisite wines. all the dishes we ordered were well presented, prepared with fresh ingredients and had a delicious, natural taste. the fleischlaberl à la metternich, which we would like to highlight as a true gem of this extraordinary restaurant. The service was very courteous, attentive and helpful. the friendly staff has given our visit through its well-selected recommendations a personal note.Generally, we can find that we were actually thrilled by our lunch in this local. this traditional Wiener restaurant with classic ambient is an ideal place for fine taste experiences of Austrian cuisine. who seeks traditional Austrian dishes of high quality and modern interpretation is best eliminated at the "grand ferdinand".
On the ring - so not recommended to visit the outdoor gastronomy. inside then the guest feels like a grand hotel. the service is attentive, but not cordial, the gast is stop there! The drinks and dips are well selected. aperitivs are available according to international standart, zb cosmopolitan, but in small doses. next to the main card there is one such of the season, zb with eggplant, the risotto based there is tastefully good. the szegediner fish soup is well equipped, very nice and good sharing the suppenvariation with 3 different. in the dessert simply order the delicious veil sorbet sissi. Also here dei unsitte: deck costs 3,00 €
The Rooftop bar convinced with great view over the first district. the service was more than bad. from the restaurant manager, to the waiters, we were served more than recompetent by the staff. Although we still called at 21 o'clock, whether we get a dessert still served and this was answered yes, we hoped for a complete dessert card. Once we were greeted rudely and later we were told that there are only two sweet foods to choose from: different types of ice cream and chocolate poppy soufflé. very disappointed we then took six balls of ice and a soufflé... and then we paid for four eating full 56€! Many thanks, we unfortunately no longer come back.
