cafe Hundertwasser Museum - Vienna

Very brightly decorated cafe that is in the foyer of the museum and has both an interior and exterior seating area. We had a salad and a sandwich together with coffees. Food was OK as was the service. The highlight though is the unique setting and don't miss a visit to the bathrooms.

Inside the Hundertwasswer Museum, the cafe is very cute and hip. Like in a cartoon, things look a bit crooked but fun. A cozy place to spend an afternoon here for a cup of tea and a piece of Atrian cheese strudel.

Wenn man nach Wien kommt, kommt man nicht für dieses Museum. Aber wenn man es besucht hat, denkt man wirklich, dass es ein Muss ist und man wird es seinen Freunden empfehlen. Es ist eine schöne Entdeckung. Der Ort ist auch schön und angenehm zu besuchen.

Stunning. I knew some of his work from seeing it in books but 'in the flesh ' is like sensory overload. A fantastic building. The café/bistro is worth a visit too. Buy a beer, sit people watch while engaging with the friendly staff. Superb experience

Wonderful place! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Vienna. Hundertwasser's paintings and all the other works of art are amazing!
