When it comes to meats, this place serves some of the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend the brisket. However, I can't say the same for the sides; I wouldn't recommend them. If you're getting a to-go plate, I suggest focusing on the meats and making your own sides at home, or perhaps trying a different restaurant for those. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

I usually don't write reviews, but this experience compelled me to share my thoughts. I won't be ordering from this place or returning. The cashier was unfriendly, acting as if she didn’t want to take my order. The ribs were undercooked, and the prices seemed too high for what I received. To make matters worse, a customer used a racist slur while picking up their order, and the staff didn’t say a thing. I won't be coming back.

This restaurant may not be the best choice for Black patrons. The service was mediocre, and while some of the meats had a decent texture, the overall flavor of the food was lacking. There seemed to be discomfort from some customers regarding Black individuals dining inside. Although I didn't encounter any direct issues, it was uncomfortable to be subjected to unwelcoming glances while trying to enjoy my meal. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning anytime soon, but I genuinely hope the establishment improves in the future.

Great place for damned good food! Service at the counter was prompt, prepared quickly and served HOT! Variety of sauces to fit anyone's taste. Excellent sides to go with fantastic meats.Food: 5/5

I ordered a beef brisket sandwich, I ask for it in bread, they gave me a bun. The beef was cold and hard, I can tell it wasn't fresh. Let's just say I won't be back
