82 Bbq - Verbank

Came here for the 1st time a few weeks back! The food was great and portion size matched the prices offered! The waitress took great care of us, giving my friend and I time to socialize and enjoy while also being attentive! We are already talking aboutgoing back real soon!

A southern style BBQ gem in the mountains. My wife and I stopped by here for dinner. The staff are very friendly and professional, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food is spectacular! We enjoyed the BBQ wings and brisket the most,but the short ribs were also tasty yet had a saltier rub. This place really brings out southern style BBQ. Coupled with livemusic, it made a Friday bite a night to remember.

Drove about 1/2 hour to check this place out for the first time, and as a BBQ guy, I was really looking forward to it. The outdoor space looked great, I found a table outside and there were probably about 5 other tables total seated that night(perhaps an early sign when other local places are packed at the time being Friday night at 7pm) There was a great sologuitarist playing which I was loving. What I didn't love is that I sat there for a SOLID 20 minutes and no one paid anyattention to me. I am not one to flag anyone down, especially when there's only 5 other tables. No drink, no welcome, no ordertaken. I was getting pretty annoyed and decided I'd wait and see how long it would take. A couple sat down directly beside me atanother table and the young female waitress came right out and got their order. Sorry guys, I refuse to beg. And as a businessowner, I blame this on management, not the waitstaff. Every other employee working that night could see that I was sitting therewithout so much of a nod to my existence. One and done for me, that's all I have to know. Waste of my time. Be better.

Amazing place on route 82 in Upstate New York. We were driving around on a Saturday afternoon in the area and noticed that they wee setting up the stage, so we decided to check it out. And what a great choice it was. They had a live band, place quicklyfilled up with friendly locals, and I had so much fun. Also, their brisket was to die for! Definitely will be back.

I was excited to try 82 BBQ for the first time recently but was very disappointed with the experience. I ordered the Brisket Platter with Baked Beans, Mac N Cheese and Cornbread. The Brisket was most likely from the end and was severely burned andcharred with very little interior meat. It was also way too salty. Sides were adequate, nothing special. Cornbread was good butit measured about a 2-inch square. My girlfriend got the 1/4 Chicken Platter with similar sides. Chicken was very dry and pink(almost raw) at the bone., The physical space is nice, and the staff was attentive and friendly, maybe I just caught a bad night(it was later on a Sunday).
