Off The Wagon Brewery Kitchen - Venice

The signs on the doors and outside the building indicate that it is closed for remodeling. Additionally, Yelp requires me to provide this information before I can submit my review.

The sour beers they offered were outstanding, but everything else was just average. I was looking forward to trying the Pasta Sauce Pils, but it ended up being just a regular Italian Pilsner. This was all during an evening when they were hosting an event or entertainment.

I tried to signal that I just wanted to enjoy the night with my wife, but one of the bouncers stepped in and said everything was fine, encouraging the guy to back off, which he refused to do. Eventually, one bouncer left, and the man who had been giving me trouble continued to glare and make threatening gestures. To avoid any further conflict, my wife and I decided to leave. I can only guess what his issue with me was, but I know for certain that I won’t be returning to this place. It’s a shame because up until that point, we were having a fantastic evening. Thank you, but I’ll pass on this venue in the future.

Enter, right on 7. Sunday evening, immediately from the hostess who leave us with menus. Fifteen to twenty minutes later no additional service, we decided to go. The menus returned to the bartender and told him we wanted to eat, his answer, I'm sorry. At the door the hostess, who sat us, we had not waited, she had no answer. So no reason to go here if you want food and drinks.

Beer was good, brisket grilled cheese was very good, wings were pretty good too. Service was excellent. Laid back vibe during the day, pool tables and outdoor area to enjoy. Would go back!
