This restaurant has terrible customer service. I checked online and it said pick up orders would be ready in 10-15 minutes. When I called to confirm, the person said it would be 15 minutes. However, when we arrived to pick up our order, they refused to communicate with us. I would have been fine waiting if they had given me an accurate time estimate. After waiting for an hour with no progress, we decided to leave. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
Worst restaurant for delivery drivers was waiting 35 minutes for 2 orders(and non of them was ready)So, be ready for a loooong night
Ordered Asakuma online, and I am NOT a picky eater. I ordered the salmon avocado cut roll and an order of spicy tuna over crispy rice. First of all, it was packaged horribly. This sushi was inedible, and the worst place I have EVER gotten sushi. The crispy rice was as hard as a hockey puck, I almost cracked a tooth on my first bite and had to throw the whole thing out. $15 wasted. The salmon in my salmon avocado roll was chewy and tough--never a good sign for salmon. I hate to be so harsh but I have never had worse sushi. Go anywhere else in LA.
Don't be deceived by the promise of fast service - it's not true! We decided to order from this restaurant because we were short on time and were told it would only take 5-10 minutes for our small order of 3 rolls. However, it ended up taking about 30 minutes and the quality of the sushi was disappointing. The customer service was also terrible. In conclusion, we do not recommend this place for good sushi or quick service.
