Casa Julika - Vence

We were in Vence having spent the morning at St Paul, and were looking for a prettysimple lunchtime meal.Came across the Casa Julika just off one of the squares in the old town and mustsay it was a bit of a lucky find.We had very nicely prepared and presented salads, fresh bread and a couple ofglasses of excellent local wine, followed by icecreams which were on the largesize, almost but not quite too much.It seemed the place was run by just a couple of people but service was friendly, quick and the whole experience was relaxed allowing you to recharge before exploring theold town.Give it a try, its not a fancy restaurant but sometimes this is just the sort of place toexperience where the locals may go. nevertheless attentive, a very p

We were in Vence for a light lunch before visiting the Matisse chapel and chose this little cafe on the basis that the food being served up looked good and that it looked clean. We had excellent fresh salad and tartine, the service was friendly and efficient and the prices were normal. The setting is good in the old town, overall a pleasant experience.

Expensive and bad we shouldn't allow anyone to open up a restoration. Unpleasant service. Heated plates. no notion of taste or aesthetic. the boss seems to be disgusted to receive
