However, if you choose to dine in the regular area, be prepared for poor service. During my last visit, we were greeted and seated, but it took over 30 minutes for someone to bring us water. We couldn't find any staff in the dining area; it felt like a ghost town. It's really disappointing because we love their sushi, but excellent service seems to only come with the Hibachi experience. So, if you're planning to enjoy their sushi, I'd advise against dining in. Instead, place a pickup order or go for the Hibachi. This was our third time dining in (and definitely our last), and each experience has been consistently slow with no sense of urgency whatsoever.
Our server was both entertaining and comically engaging, adding an extra layer of fun to the meal—it truly felt like a performance! I recommend bringing your sense of humor along. This is a fantastic spot for both lunch and dinner. The total bill was just $30, which I thought was quite reasonable. I did request that they clean my seating area a bit more thoroughly, and they took care of that without any issue. The only downside was sitting next to a group visiting from Chicago, who seemed uninterested in enjoying the experience. I personally prefer dining with those who appreciate a bit of fun. Just a heads-up, the seating arrangement involves sharing a large grill with other patrons, which can lead to mixed company. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place—it’s quite addictive! I apologize for not taking pictures before starting my meal; the food was just too good to wait!
We waited an hour and a half for the chef to arrive, and it took another hour just to get water once we were seated. The chef seemed unprepared, having to rush to the back twice for supplies. The grill was set too high, resulting in everything being overcooked to a crisp and giving off a burnt smell the entire time.
First time ever eating at a Japanese Steakhouse in the Northwest, the Hibachi show was decent, but I think because of COVID-19 they can't do as much as they used to currently, but the food was fantastic and outstanding. I will definitely be going back and making this place apart of my normal dining out routine location, knowing there are locations in several places!
I ordered the Hibachi Filet Mignon rare w/scallops, rice and mixed vegetables with extra vegetables. To drink I had a ?dirty martini? but didn?t expect it to be in a filthy glass. When mentioned to the waitress she acted like it was no big deal and didn?t offer to comp it. My steak tasted good but wasn?t rare, had veins through out, and were in tiny pieces. The scallops were amazing being perfectly cooked. The vegetables were good but way too many huge onion pieces with the skin included. Great sushi but definitely not worth the price for steak or drinks-?
