Haven't been out here for ages & we weren't disappointed excellent meal. We often take our visitors out here when they come to stay with us. The meals are great"Pub" meal plenty of it & reasonably priced. Always busy but they get the meals out to you in good time. Make sure you book or you could miss out on a table.

We took a drive out here Sunday, the place was very busy. Ordered or drinks and said we could wait for a table which was fine. Finally got a table ordered our food. I ordered the lamb roast and my husband the wagu burger. Firstly the food was cold. I asked them to heat it up which they put it in the microwave which was better. The vegetables were very tasty but the lamb was terrible. It looked like all the off cuts of the roast. Not one piece of decent meat .When we went to complain the comment was "so sorry about that". Either they are so busy and our food was sitting for ages or they just dont care.

If you like a large pub meal in a quiet setting and a country setting, then this is a good place for dinner.

The food here is delicious and the plates are huge, the menu is really good and it's hard to choose from as there are so many great choices. The burgers and steak sandwiches are amazing and 2 ppl could easily share one. Service is great and the place is beautifully restored, there is indoor and outdoor dining and plenty of beers on tap.

This was my local 20 odd years ago , when I was married and lived there. It has since been restored, and well. The atmosphere is always great , and the food never fails to impress. Anything from a steak , to a steak burger , to the pizza and seafood is always well cooked , generous portions and well priced. Do yourself a favour and give it a try. We always return , and love it!
