Bay Central Tavern - Urraween

We ate dinner here whilst in town. The meals came quick enough and were lovely. There was one man this Friday night doing the tables, delivering meals, supplying menus, clearing tables. He was the only wait staff seen and only the hard worker there, the bar staff looked miserable. The tvs are great. Ample parking. We only ate, didn’t go in the pokies etc.

This tavern has the best food and great vibe. Oysters kilpatric where fantastic and buffalo wings where always awesome. Great for kids with a play park. Our local now and we are from the Goldy.

Food was not the best. Both ordered chicken and sweet corn soup. Certainly had not been simmering away in a big pot today. For $12 it was pathetic tinned chicken soup with added chicken pieces and corn. It sounded good on the whiteboard but the chef failed. My friend's lamb roast proved to be a plate of tough lamb slices and steamed vegetables where were the roasted ones not existent I must report. My chicken breast was tough with the same plucked out of the water vegetables. Surely the chef can do a whole lot better. The food was mediocre at best. Try somewhere else!

Beautiful night out with family. Delicious food, great service and courtesy bus a bonus! Paul and his staff are always welcoming.

As always great service, pleasant atmosphere and fantastic food. Cheese bacon garlic bread is a must with every order.
