Reserved a table in the restaurant a few hours before for 6pm via OpenTable. When we arrived, the hostess led us to a high top at the bar. When I said that we had made reservations to sit at a regular table, not at the bar, she insisted that someone from the restaurant called me to confirm that I wanted a seat at the bar. I said that no one had called me, that I had made the reservations online. She gave me attitude and then led us to a low top table still in the bar area. Meanwhile the restaurant is EMPTY! We accepted the table bc I didn’t want to deal with her attitude. Our server was friendly and was bringing us our drinks when the hostess came over again to insist that I had called to be by the bar for the DJ- the DJ wasn’t coming until 9pm so my 6pm reservation would not make sense! We had dropped it and had moved on, so I’m not sure why the hostess felt compelled to beat a dead horse. Food was good, not great but she just left a bad taste in our mouths.

Server was excellent. The entire experience was amazing right down to the live music! Enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely be back!

Additionally, if you are going to have your party here, make sure to ask detailed questions about the menu. For instance, I ordered chicken, paella, pork, and ropa vieja. The chicken was supposed to be baked, as discussed with the manager, Juan, but it turned out to be a terrible, sauced dish instead. I have no idea about how the pork was prepared. Another point to clarify is the beverage package; you need to know exactly what is included. None of my guests received champagne for the toast, and the manager never mentioned that. He only told me what drinks were included.
