Surulere Suya Spot - Union

I drove 23 mins to order food for $60 and everything was trash . I ordered asun , beef suya , and egusi with fufu and EVERYTHING was nasty. The beef suya in a small container and 60% of it was chopped vegetables, the asun was dry and little to no spice. The egusi didn’t taste Anything like the one I’m used to eating . If this spot was the the only African spot near me id never eat aftican food again.

Reminds me of the spicy food joints of Lagos, Nigeria. Good food, nice

HORRIBLE SERVICE FOOD TAKES AGES TO EVEN COME OUT AND DO NOT ASK FOR TAKEOUT YOU WILL WAKE HOURS JUST TO LEAVE WITH UR FOOD. WORSE SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN.

If you're in the mood to wait for 3 hrs then I guess it's a decent place this is the slowest restaurant I have ever ordered from in my life

I should have heeded the negative reviews and saved my money. The restaurant has a limited menu, especially in the morning. I ordered the beef suya and jollof rice with goat meat. Unfortunately, the beef suya was tough and lacked flavor. The goat meat was similarly tough and fatty, making it unpleasant to eat. The jollof rice was inedible—bland and tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. I’m puzzled by how anyone could enjoy this food enough to leave positive reviews. Perhaps I received a bad batch or leftovers? Additionally, the prices for the food and drinks are excessively high for the quality provided. Be aware that the Palm Juice also contains alcohol. If you decide to visit, I recommend proceeding with caution and keeping your expectations low. I appreciate supporting small businesses, but this experience was disappointing.
