Pirate's Cove

Best seafood place, hands down! Their food was delicious! It had the right amount of seasonings and was full of flavor. The portions were huge. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The waitress was very friendly and made you feel at home. This is now our go to restaurant. We absolutely love it!

The food was okay. Nothing special, but you get what you pay for and it wasn't super expensive. One of the steaks at our table was sent out nearly raw, and most of the food was relatively eh. Other than that the gnats are awful and everywhere. When we got back to our table they swarmed around us, then got worse when the food came out. They were even worse in the hallway headed towards the bathroom. We said something to our waitress and she said they were treating them but whatever it is doesn't seem to be working and we were all grossed out.

A friend and I tried to eat a Rueben sandwich on Friday and it was terrible. It tasted like metal and upset our stomachs. This isn’t the first time so I won’t be back

Salmon was lacking seasoning and cold in the middle. She crab soup was good. Flounder was absolutely tasteless. I ate 1 bite and decided I would just take it home and try to spice it up some. I don't think it even had salt and pepper on it. Creamed spinach was cold. The calm strips were hot and flavorful, and the cornbread was delicious.

Went with a large group. We all enjoyed ourselves. I had the steak and crab cake with a baked potato and cornbread. It also came with hush puppies. Hush puppies and cornbread were fabulous. Everything else was good. Friends who ordered green beans as a side didn't eat them as they clearly came out of a can and weren't exactly appetizing. I would definitely visit again.
