Soma - Ultimo

Good coffee and they have some vegan salads and maintain bowls on the menu. Hot Tip: I asked if they make vegan packs and they made a delicious vegan pack with mushrooms in it for me.

Just to make it clear, guys: you don't go to Soma for vegan food. It doesn't have much. What it HAS is excellent, do not misunderstand, but it is limited. What you do is the coffee. They won the best café in 2011 and are consistently brilliant. Staff are friendly and cordial, the vegan muffins are great, and the coffee is to die. Again, gang. Go here. I just know why. And why is the coffee? Because the coffee is really good.

Had a quick search for a vegan friendly place immersed near work and soma. Many of my employees come here for coffee, especially for their happy hour for $2.50 coffee in the afternoon. I ordered the power herb, two avocado toasts decorated with sauerkraut, Kimchi, Chili and with edible flowers. The meal looked great and filled me for a big day at work. I checked with the server that the Kimchi was vegan, and she was friendly enough to deal with her chefs. Had a soy cap on the side and it was a good breakfast. I love coming here for her vegan muffins as a breakfast treatment. They make them fresh daily (I think they come from the oven at 8 a.m.). There is a Blueberry Dark chocolate or raspberry moon. They also make a very good soy coffee. In terms of menu length, there are generally some vegan options. I tried the kale caesar salad. I can't say if it approaches the original, but it was delicious.

I’ve been here a few times now for breakfast and lunch and quite like the place<br/ <br/ The bacon and eggs, for breakfast is a good choice with a good portion size. <br/ <br/ The burger here was fantastic, the shake was pretty decent too. The coffee here is pretty good. <br/ <br/ The price was a tad more then I was willing to spend but worth it. The service was ok, nothing special. I wouldn’t mind trying it out again sometime soon.
